Did you understand the steps you have to follow? Well, now you are going to start proving how much you know about animals. Each task here will have some instructions and it will be specified if it is individual or in a group. Remember that you have to give it your all, regardless if it is an individual or in a group.
WE ARE STARTING!
ACTIVITY 1 - INDIVIDUAL
The first thing you are going to do will be the activities in the following links. At the end of each activity you will have to click on the option to send your results to the teacher, don't forget.
Listen and choose - Here you will see animals that you already know, but there will be others that you have not given, so listen carefully to how they are pronounced.
Complete with the words in the square - You will have to drag the words into the spaces and complete the text.
Write the number that match with the description of each animal - In this activity you have to write the number that matches with each description.
Read and match - You will read the fragments and match them with the corresponding animal.
I recommend that you take some notes on these activities, especially the descriptions, as they will be useful for what you will have to do in class.
ACTIVITY 2 - INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP WORK
Here the teacher will organize you into groups so that you all have access to the digital tablets to look up the information you need. You will have to write between six and twelve lines about the animal you have chosen.
I am sure you will be able to do it, you can tell me about what they are like (their size, colors, body parts...), where they live, what they can do, if you can see them in Spain, what classification they have (mammals, reptiles, etc.)... and in case you are not sure even if it is an "individual work" you can help each other in case of doubt.
For this activity the teacher will help you to tell you how to search or find information, but she will not tell you how to say the sentences or if you do not know how to write a word. The person who finishes the activity will write in a Word what they wrote on the sheet of paper and will save it on the tablet with their name and the animal that corresponds to that information. If there is not enough time in class for everyone to save it on the tablet, it can be sent by direct message via Teams or by mail.
ACTIVITY 3 - GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL WORK
Here your teacher will arrive with what you have done the day before and each group will receive the texts of another group (without names and without the animal they had to describe) for you to check them and write the name of the animal that you think is the answer to the texts, which will work as riddles. Once corrected, they will be returned to their authors and the teacher will check if the students corrected the others well.
In case that in a description another animal has matched, you can add more information to avoid confusion and you will be given the opportunity to add more information if you consider it convenient. As you finish the texts you will have to give them to the teacher for a final revision. While she is checking them you can look for images of the animal you have described, saving the images and you will be able to see how the Tiktok application works, which will be installed on the tablet so that you can see how the editor works.
ACTIVITY 4 - INDIVIDUAL
This activity will take place the day after the exam. For this activity you will have to ask your parents to write to the teacher to see if she can make a recording of your voices reading what you have written. If the families or the student considers it convenient, a program that modifies the voice can be used.
The teacher will have on the tablet the images that you have downloaded and the recording of your voice, as you are making the recording you will have access to the tablet to make a simple video where you can listen to the riddle and at the end you will show the images of the animal. You don't have to create an account, you will use an account or accounts made by the teacher. You will NOT take pictures of classmates or record each other's faces.
Finally, the teacher will be in charge of organizing the material created and uploading it to the blog to share it with the rest of your classmates.
